NABA seeks motivated individuals to join our Accounting Unit as Account Payable Intern. This internship offers the opportunity to learn core accounting processes, from invoice management to supplier and teacher correspondence, while gaining practical experience with SAP and administrative support activities.

The selected candidate will learn and support the following activities:

  • Print and classify daily invoices from Cassetto Fiscale according to the nature of the costs.
  • Verify that invoices for goods and services match receiving records and purchase orders.
  • Manage minor discrepancies with requestor approval; escalate significant differences with supplier credit notes or Department Manager approval.
  • Support the check of teachers' invoices for accuracy (VAT, withholding tax, social security reimbursement, tax stamp).
  • Ensure invoiced amounts align with the online register in company management platform.
  • Code invoices to be ready for accounting registration.
  • Enter invoices into SAP and scan supporting documents (e.g., reports of hours worked during exam sessions).
  • Support the proper maintain archiving of paper documentation.
  • Handle requests to suppliers for clarification of unexpected invoices, issuance of credit notes, or corrections of headings/VAT data.
  • Ensure daily front office activities, telephone communication, and dedicated email service.
  • Ensure bank references are accurate and communicated to the Treasurer.
  • Support journal entries (JE) for SAP registration.
  • Support purchase requisitions and follow up with the Procurement department when needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma in Accounting or related fields
  • Strong team spirit and willingness to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good level of English (spoken and written)

Conditions:

  • A full-time internship lasting 6 months, with the opportunity to extend for another 6 months
  • Monthly expense reimbursement of €800 gross + ticket restaurant
  • Workplace: Milan (Romolo MM2)
