The Technology, Media, Telecom & Healthcare sector team ("TMT&H") is one of the global specialist sector coverage teams at the heart of ING Wholesale Banking. We provide banking services and comple financial solutions to telecommunication, media, entertainment, technology, satellite, healthcare and pharmaceutical companies in the EMEA, Americas and Asia-Pacific regions.

We are currently looking for a 6-months Intern for our TMT&H sector coverage team in Milan. You will support the team's activities consisting of (i) managing relationships with clients in the dynamic TMT&H sector and (ii) origination, structuring and eecution of transformational financial solutions for them.

You will be a member of a successful and highly driven & results-oriented team. Working in the TMT&H sector team means working in a dynamic environment with interesting clients, and on challenging transactions at the very heart of the ING organization. The global TMT&H sector team currently consists of 80+ dedicated professionals located in New York, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Madrid, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Milan. ING is one of the leading banks in the sector and is continuously at the top of the EMEA league tables.

Your key responsibilities

You will support multiple client & deal teams involved in transactions which have a large impact on our clients. You will work closely together with team members in Milan and other locations, and with various product specialists across ING. Your task will consist of supporting team members' activities and will include:

• Preparing relevant client reporting and perform Know Your Customer activities on our client's portfolio.
• Actively supporting deal generation, proactively contributing to the origination efforts of the team by driving sector analyses, presentations, and pitch books.
  Safeguarding timely transaction delivery and high-quality and seamless transaction e- ecution.
• Maintaining active contacts with other departments/disciplines within ING, such as Corporate Finance, Loan Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Financial Markets, Transaction Services and Risk Management.
• Financial modeling, credit analyses, client's rating assessment and industry peers', supporting the Lending team in the preparation of credit applications.
• Assessing and reviewing due diligence on clients.
• Portfolio management activities such as processing of credit reviews, waivers, and amendments.
• Monitoring client' portfolio profitability and KPIs.
• Participating to the wider sector initiatives and improvement projects, and actively contribute to making the TMT&H Italy a better and more efficient organization.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a young pro-active professional with a strong personal drive, ambition and international mindset. You have the ability to operate in a highly demanding environment, to deal with pressure and to perform under tight deadlines. You have a strong commercial drive and have ecellent communication skills.

Personal profile:

• Ambitious graduate student or post-graduate professional with outstanding academic track-record.
• Passion for the TMT&H sectors.
  Prior internship and/or relevant financial e- perience preferred.
• Basic understanding of key financial markets and products.
  Preferably e- cellent financial, modelling & analytical skills, eye for detail.
  Proficient in MS Office (E- cel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Good interpersonal & communication skills, strong team player.
• High level of drive, self-motivation and professional approach.
  Strong project, time management & deal e- ecution skills.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both verbally and written.
