Accounting & Tax Manager – Milan (Hybrid)


Milan, Italy | Full-time | €65,000 annual salary

We're seeking an experienced
Accounting & Tax Manager
to join the Italian branch of a global company. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the accounting team, ensure full tax compliance, and drive process innovation across financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Accounting Team, promoting engagement, innovation, and process improvement
  • Oversee all accounting, tax, and financial reporting activities (GL, AP, AR, treasury, month-end close, tax filings, etc.)
  • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliations of P&L and balance sheet accounts
  • Manage treasury operations and banking relationships in line with regulations
  • Coordinate tax calculations, declarations, and payments with external advisors
  • Support transfer pricing processes in collaboration with Group Tax
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and maintain corporate books (journal entries, VAT, etc.)
  • Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors, advisors, and internal stakeholders
  • Act as a key user in the finance system and lead in the implementation of the new ERP

Your Profile

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics
  • 8–10 years of solid experience in Accounting & Tax, ideally within multinational environments
  • Background in Audit and/or team leadership is a strong plus
  • Fluent in
    Italian and English
    (written and spoken)
  • Strong technical expertise in accounting and tax regulations
  • Hands-on leader with a proactive and structured approach
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving mindset
  • Skilled in MS Office; knowledge of IDMS is a plus

Accounting & Tax Manager
per la filiale italiana di un gruppo multinazionale. La risorsa, che riporterà direttamente al CFO, avrà la responsabilità di guidare il team contabile, garantire la conformità fiscale e ottimizzare i processi finanziari.

Principali Responsabilità

  • Guidare e motivare il team contabile, promuovendo innovazione, digitalizzazione e miglioramento continuo dei processi
  • Coordinare tutte le attività contabili e fiscali (contabilità generale, fornitori, clienti, tesoreria, chiusure mensili, dichiarazioni fiscali, ecc.)
  • Garantire la riconciliazione accurata e tempestiva dei conti economici e patrimoniali
  • Gestire la tesoreria e i rapporti bancari nel rispetto delle normative vigenti
  • Supervisionare calcolo, dichiarazione e versamento delle imposte, in collaborazione con i consulenti esterni
  • Supportare le attività di Transfer Pricing con il dipartimento fiscale di gruppo
  • Redigere il bilancio civilistico e gestire i libri contabili e fiscali (prima nota, IVA, ecc.)
  • Gestire i rapporti con revisori, consulenti e principali stakeholder
  • Agire come key user per i sistemi finanziari e figura chiave nell'implementazione del nuovo ERP

Profilo Richiesto

  • Laurea in Economia, Finanza o Amministrazione Aziendale
  • 8–10 anni di esperienza in ambito contabile e fiscale, preferibilmente in realtà multinazionali
  • Esperienza pregressa in revisione contabile e/o in ruoli di coordinamento (plus)
  • Ottima conoscenza di
    inglese e italiano
    , parlato e scritto
  • Solida conoscenza della normativa contabile e fiscale
  • Leadership operativa, precisione e approccio proattivo
  • Eccellenti capacità analitiche, organizzative e di gestione dei progetti
  • Orientamento al business e capacità di problem solving
  • Ottima padronanza di MS Office; conoscenza di IDMS considerata un plus
