We're offering a broad and hands-on full-time role based at our Milan office. As we continue to strengthen and develop our local organization, we're looking for a 
Sales & Account Manager
 
blending Inside Sales Manager efficiency with Key Client Account responsibilities
 to propel growth in advanced in vitro testing.

The role fuses sales execution with relationship depth across toxicology, efficacy, and preclinical R&D services.

Your overall responsibility will be to grow our business by building and maintaining long-term relationships in established and new markets. This is a key position within our small but well-established life sciences company. VitroScreen is part of the SenzaGen Group and pioneers next-generation 
in vitro
testing solutions
.

We specialize in advanced 3D tissue and spheroid models, offering high-quality in vitro testing services with a strong reputation in the industry.

You will work closely with our CEO and the group sales function, becoming an integral part of a dedicated and collaborative team.

: Cosmetics, Medical Devices, Nutraceuticals, Chemicals, and Pharma

Education, Professional Background, and Personal Profile
:

  • Degree in Life Sciences, or related field; strong knowledge of efficacy and toxicology testing.
  • 5+ years blending inside sales (lead gen, quota achievement) and key account management (retention, expansion) in preclinical services.
  • Fluent in English and Italian (French or other languages advantageous).
  • Proven full-cycle experience: prospecting, needs assessment, solution presentation; familiarity with 3D models, GLP/ISO a plus; CRM proficient.
  • Dynamic self-starter with sales drive and client focus; organized for remote/team hybrid work

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Manage full sales cycle: prospect via digital channels, qualify inbound leads remotely, conduct virtual and in-person meetings, identify clients' needs, and present VitroScreen's full in vitro service range—including toxicology safety assessments, efficacy studies, 3D tissue/spheroid models solutions, while collaborating with scientific teams for delivery. Close deals via calls/emails, while tracking pipeline metrics and forecasting revenue using CRM tools.
  • Manage key client accounts: through ongoing relationship management, build long-term partnerships, identify upsell opportunities across toxicology and efficacy services, ensure satisfaction through post-sale support to foster repeat business and loyalty. Collaborate with scientific teams for customized, ISO and GLP-compliant delivery.
  • Enhance brand presence at scientific conferences, trade shows, and webinars; align with marketing for targeted outreach to Pharma, MedTech, Cosmetics, Nutraceuticals, and Chemicals sectors, promoting our comprehensive preclinical solutions.
