Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rome for an Academic Department Assistant at the Research Center for Islamic Economics. Responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the academic department, assisting with scheduling and coordination of educational and research activities, maintaining records and materials, and facilitating communication between faculty, students, and external stakeholders. The role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of departmental activities and fostering a collaborative academic environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with faculty, students, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Research and a clear understanding of academic and scholarly environments.
- Experience in Education, including supporting or organizing academic programs and initiatives.
- Excellent Training and development coordination abilities.
- Outstanding Organization Skills, including managing schedules, maintaining records, and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic office software and technology tools.
- Previous experience in an academic or research institution is an advantage.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
