About The Job
Join Allianz Technology S.p.A. as a Change & Release Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient delivery of IT services to our business partners. Your focus will be on change management and release management, collaborating closely with the Production Manager and various Allianz teams to uphold high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Your comprehensive understanding of the clients' IT landscape, coupled with a solid grasp of projects, products, and services, will be key in effectively managing changes and releases. You will contribute to both the maintenance and continuous improvement of current processes ("as-is") and the definition and execution of strategies to enhance our IT service delivery.

What You Do

  • Oversee the change management process, ensuring that all changes to applications and infrastructure are meticulously documented, reviewed, and approved.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement changes with minimal disruption to services, maintaining operational continuity.
  • Manage Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, ensuring adherence to change management policies and procedures.

Plan and execute the release management process, ensuring that new releases are deployed efficiently and without issues, maintaining service quality.

  • Collaborate with Allianz teams to coordinate release schedules, guaranteeing smooth transitions and minimizing impact on business operations.
  • Work closely with local CTOs and application architects to implement cost improvement measures, optimizing resource utilization.
  • Support decommissioning processes, ensuring seamless transitions and minimizing impact on service delivery.

What You Bring

  • Extensive knowledge of IT landscapes, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proven problem-solving attitude, essential for managing complex change and release processes.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Change & Release Manager, showcasing adaptability and expertise in overseeing complex IT service delivery projects.
  • Experience with IT service management tools and methodologies, and the ability to coordinate diverse technological components effectively.
  • Ability to cope with challenges and work under pressure, coordinating interactions between different teams and acting as a mediator to resolve issues.
  • Skilled at interacting with various levels, including C-level executives.
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in change and release management.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical thinking skills, with fluency in both Italian and English, written and spoken.
