To take our company to the next level, we are currently looking for an IT Applications & Automation Specialist to ensure our business systems are scalable, efficient, and well-integrated across multiple countries. 

You will oversee the full lifecycle of our key IT applications, support business teams in their daily operations, and drive continuous improvement through smart automation and cloud-based solutions. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams, manage our technology suite, and provide strategic oversight while staying hands-on to resolve operational challenges. 

AS AN IT APPLICATIONS & AUTOMATION SPECIALIST YOU WILL:

• Application Lifecycle Ownership: Maintain and optimize core business applications (ERP, CRM, HR systems, etc), ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
  
• API Integration & Automation: Design and implement workflows, automations, and data exchanges using API integration, no-code/low-code tools (e.g., Make, n8n), and block programming.
  
• Cloud Platforms & Scalability: Contribute to the evolution of our cloud architecture - ideally with knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - to support our growth across Europe.
  
• Technical Troubleshooting: Act as a point of escalation for critical issues to ensure continuity and minimal impact on business operations.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective solutions.
  
• Budget Support: Contribute to IT vendor evaluations and cost-optimization initiatives, ensuring we invest wisely in our tech stack.
  
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor system performance and propose enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.

YOU WILL BE THE PERFECT FIT IF YOU: 

• Proven experience in IT application management, integrating business tools, and delivering automation at scale.
  
• Strong understanding of API connectivity and workflow automation (Make, Zapier, n8n or similar).
  
• Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with Python.
  
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Fluency in English AND Italian is required.
• Comfortable working independently as an individual contributor.
• Willingness to travel regularly to our Milan office.
