The Supplier Fulfillment Leader is responsible for activities related to Suppliers promise integrity (purchase, orders, fulfillment). In this role you will be responsible from a delivery point of view for the Suppliers risk mitigation and support the Supplier Assessment team in improvement plans execution in case of issue, in particular in this role you shall guarantee on time delivery for critical parts impacting the plants performances, KPI monitoring and improvement through action plans, Customer Impact avoidance, delinquency level reduction, minimizing inventory jointly working with the MRP planners. Role requires visits at Supplier facilities to verify on site the status of the work in progress and implementation of the corrective actions.

You will directly report to the Procurement team in Sourcing Organization and will be co-located in the relevant Commodity. In case of escalation you will refers to Procurement leader. In case of issue you will collaborate and coordinate actions plans for improvement working both with supplier and internally with Supplier Quality Engineer, Engineering team, Plants, Finance to enable resolution.

The Supplier Fulfillment Leader owns: the delivery recovery plans and the Supplier's delivery KPI. For parts in the NPI (New Product Introduction) process will take over the delivery recovery plans responsibility after the FAI is approved.Job Description

Essential responsibilities

  • Ensure timely deliveries on contract requirements for Critical Parts only – Short term view including equation requests

  • Knowledge of planning and MRP system

  • Resolve delivery issues

  • Recovery plans creation and Management

  • Enable communication with Quality, Engineering, Plants, Finance and Commodity to resolve delivery Issues

  • Strategize to expedite deliveries

  • KPI communication, analysis, reconciliation with supplier and improvement recovery actions

  • On site visit suppliers when necessary

  • End-User flow/ data management

  • Order book review

  • Payment issue

  • Input material control and Inventory management support

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Scientific Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Knowledge of the sourcing field and significant experience in Procurement/ Fulfillment role

  • Previous experience in materials planning with foreign Suppliers

  • SAP Knowledge

  • Fluent in Italian and English

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Attitude to work in a cross-functional teamwork environment

  • Flexible time work

  • Availability to travel in Italy and abroad

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
