PPA Sales Specialist

Areas of Responsibility:
As member of the Sales Team, you will play a key role in supporting the closing of long-term agreements (PPA) with corporate and utility buyers. You will manage counterparties engagement in ERG EU Countries and support or directly lead contractual negotiations with the aim to ensure PPAs that support ERG renewable projects pipeline or hedging of operational renewables assets. You could also be involved on Storage business, scouting and negotiating tolling agreements for ERG.
Main tasks:
- Build and manage relationships with utilities, corporates, energy buyers in relation to PPA and with international advisors managing PPA tender process for third parties.
- Support the Head of Sales or directly lead end-to-end PPA structuring, negotiation and finalization.
- Coordinate with legal, technical and financial teams to ensure alignment about the contractual terms and prepare information material for C-levels decision.
- Manage hand-over of signed contracts to deputy areas for the management of the contract execution (Back Office / Contract Management).
- Potentially scout of storage and power generation tolling opportunities.
Studies:
Academic degree, preferably in the field of Engineering, Economics or similar.
Work Experience:
- At least 3 years' experience in PPA origination, with proven track record of deal initiation and execution, working for relevant actors of EU Energy Market.
- Solid business network with Utilities, Corporates and PPA Market advisors.
- Sound understanding of EU Power Market rules, dynamics and trends.
- Familiarities with pricing and contractual terms of PPA.
- Used to interact with energy trading, risk management, credit risk, back office, legal and finance functions.
- Additional experience in storage tolling agreement and third parties' storage origination will be highly considered.
Languages:
Fluent English (written and spoken), knowledge of additional languages will be valued.
Know-How & Managerial Skills:
- Attitude to interact autonomously and with self-standing in respect of potential commercial counterparties.
- Ability to build trust and engagement both externally and within the company.
- Analytical mindset, risk/reward approach with a willingness to learn fast.
- Proactive attitude and mindset to effectively work in an international and highly diverse environment.
Additional Information:
- Base working place in Genova (Italy) at ERG HQ
- Frequent travelling in Europe
- Involved EU Countries: Italy, Germany, Spain, France, UK, Sweden ed Est Europe
