This Position reports to:
Service ManagerYour Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will proactively support business development activities aligned with the Motion Service division strategy, focusing on energy efficiency initiatives for end users across various industrial segments-including metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, HVAC, and more. You will act as a key resource for promoting ABB's energy-efficient solutions, helping customers improve performance while reducing environmental impact.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Promoting ABB's energy efficiency solutions for Drives and Motors to end users across all B2B market segments.
Conduct energy audits and performance assessments on motor-driven systems (e.g., pumps, fans, compressors).
Identify and implement energy-saving opportunities through variable speed drives (VSDs), motor upgrades, and system redesigns.
Collaborate with engineering and service teams to develop tailored energy efficiency solutions.
Monitor and analyze energy consumption data using digital tools and IoT platforms.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay updated on energy regulations, incentives, and emerging technologies in industrial efficiency.
Conducting technical reviews of energy efficiency rebate applications and supporting documentation for commercial projects
Assisting in the preparation of Energy Efficiency reports to accurately describe solutions and activities in the field to achieve customer's Target and ROI
Provide Energy Efficiency market insights and analytically based analyses of energy policies
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement product, application, and segment-specific initiatives.
Qualifications for the Role
Passionate about innovation, sustainability, and driving market growth.
Strong background in energy engineering or industrial sustainability.
Proven experience in market development, technical sales, or business development within the industrial sector.
Deep understanding of energy efficiency technologies and sustainable process optimization.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Degree in Energy Engineering or a related technical field.
Fluency in Italian and English.
