Set to open its doors on Q1 2026, Blox Space aims to be a physical innovation hub and co-work space in downtown Turin, Italy with the aim to increase Bitcoin awareness and to build a vibrant workspace for teams and founders, by funneling talent and furthering a Bitcoin friendly ecosystem between our very walls.

What will you do?

As a UX/UI Designer, you will lead the design of intuitive, secure, and user-friendly digital experiences for blockchain-based financial products. You will translate complex financial and crypto-native concepts into clear, accessible interfaces, while shaping design strategy across platform.

Working closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams, you will play a key role in improving user journeys across wallets, stablecoin payments, tokenized assets, and Bitcoin Layer-2 interactions.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing, with a focus on blockchain and crypto UX, including wallets, stablecoin transfers, and Bitcoin Layer-2 flows.
• Track and apply Web3 and Bitcoin UX best practices, including wallet onboarding, signing prompts, fee logic, network selection, and Layer-2 deposit and withdrawal flows.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gather and refine user requirements, ensuring UI/UX designs are technically feasible across on-chain, off-chain, and Layer-2 journeys.
• Create UI mockups, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that illustrate real user flows, such as wallet connections, crypto-asset subscriptions, stablecoin payments, transaction previews, and Bitcoin Layer-2 interactions.
• Produce clear visual assets, including icons, diagrams, and flow illustrations, to explain blockchain concepts like stablecoin settlement, Layer-2 bridging, and digital asset issuance.
• Present design concepts to internal stakeholders and iterate based on technical constraints and user feedback.
• Identify and resolve blockchain-specific UX challenges, including unclear fees, signing friction, failed transactions, wallet compatibility issues, and Layer-2 complexity.
• Validate and refine designs through testnet and mainnet testing, ensuring high-quality UX for crypto-asset transfers and payment flows.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate for this particular role has:

• 2+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design, preferably within fintech or blockchain-enabled products.
• Strong interest or hands-on experience with blockchain technologies, including Bitcoin, Layer-2 solutions, crypto-assets, stablecoins, and wallets.
• Background or strong interest in finance, such as corporate markets, banking, or investment platforms.
• A portfolio showcasing professional design work, including financial dashboards, investing interfaces, payment flows, or blockchain applications.
• Proficiency with design and research tools such as Figma, Sketch, Hotjar, and prototyping frameworks.
• Experience designing complex user journeys across on-chain, off-chain, and Layer-2 systems.
• Strong skills with visual design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Awareness of modern UX/UI trends, particularly in Web3, fintech, wallet UX, and responsive web design.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams.

Please note:

This will be primarily an English Speaking role, so proficiency at a B2-C1 level is crucial for candidates consideration.

Work Arrangements:

This will be an Hybrid position, with Office Days in the Blox Space Innovation Hub in Turin
