About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive professional to join H-FARM School, part of the Nord Anglia Education European Region, as an Accounting & Controlling Specialist. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner to the management team, with both operational and managerial responsibilities in the accounting and financial areas. In addition to overseeing daily accounting activities, they will play a key role in preparing financial statements, managing controlling processes, and analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making and optimize administrative processes. This role will collaborate closely with both school and regional teams, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and a strategic vision in all financial and accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting and Financial Statements

  • Manage general and analytical accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and Nord Anglia standards.
  • Prepare periodic financial statements, reports, and cost analyses, supporting management in strategic planning.

Controlling

  • Analyze accounting and operational data to identify efficiency areas and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize administrative and accounting processes.

Process and Supplier Management

  • Coordinate relationships with suppliers, external consultants, and auditors.
  • Ensure contractual compliance and monitor the performance and costs of external services.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Work closely with school and regional teams to integrate accounting and management information into decision-making processes.
  • Promote a culture of transparency and continuous improvement within the administrative office.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with local tax, accounting, and legal regulations.
  • Prepare periodic reports for regional and central management, supporting audits and internal reviews.

About You

You are an accounting professional with a managerial mindset, combining strong technical expertise with analytical and strategic skills. You thrive in dynamic and complex environments, collaborating with diverse teams and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications & Training

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in accounting, financial statements, and controlling.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting systems; experience with ERP software is a plus.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
