Hiring: Document Controller (7+ Years Experience)

Location: Milan, Italy (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract

Visa: Schengen Visa will be provided

Rotation: 28 Days On / 28 Days Off

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, control, and track all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and timely distribution.
  • Maintain document management systems (electronic & physical) to ensure proper storage, retrieval, and archiving.
  • Ensure final documentation complies with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams for document submissions and approvals.
  • Monitor document workflows, follow-up on pending approvals, and maintain detailed logs and registers.
  • Prepare document transmittals, reports, and status summaries for management and stakeholders.
  • Support audits, quality reviews, and documentation-related inspections.
  • Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of project documents.
  • Provide training and support to team members on document control processes and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in document control within engineering, offshore, oil & gas, EPC, or construction projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Document Management Systems (DMS) such as Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of document workflows, transmittals, metadata, and quality standards.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.
  • Excellent English language skills (spoken & written).
