MISSION
The
Junior Network Development Specialist
will support the Network Development Manager in the planning, execution and monitoring of dealer network development activities for MG and Maxus in Italy, ensuring alignment with European Network Strategy, Brand Guidelines and local market requirements. The role maintains positive relationships with dealers, providing key feedback to managers to support timely adaptation to market changes, and conducts assessments of dealers' team situation while assisting in initiatives aimed at enhancing their sales capabilities.
The role contributes to data analysis, reporting, dealer assessment and day-to-day operational coordination across network development projects.
MAIN TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Planning & Coverage
- Support the preparation and update of the Network Coverage Plan in line with Brand and European guidelines.
- Assist in mapping territories, dealer coverage, Open point closures and network optimization opportunities.
- Support the preparation of LOIs, contracts and related annexes in coordination with Legal and internal stakeholders.
- Collect and structure market and network data to support strategic decisions.
Dealer Performance & Viability
- Monitor basic dealer KPIs (sales, throughput, network productivity, CSI indicators) and highlight deviations or critical trends.
Budget & Financial Support
- Support the Network Development Manager in budget tracking and basic financial analysis related to network projects.
- Assist in cost monitoring for network-related initiatives (CI, openings, relocations, pilots).
- Prepare summaries and dashboards to support decision-making.
Reporting & Data Management
- Ensure accurate and timely collection of network data (KPI, contracts status, openings, CI compliance).
- Prepare reports and presentations for local management and European HQ.
- Maintain structured Excel files and PowerPoint presentations for internal use.
Project & Operational Support
- Support the coordination of dealer onboarding, openings, relocations and pilot projects.
- Interface with internal teams (Sales, After Sales, Marketing) for network-related activities.
- Support activities related to dealer satisfaction, shopper standards and customer experience initiatives.
Compliance & Internal Control
- Ensure documentation, processes and reporting are compliant with internal control principles and company procedures.
- Support the proper archiving and traceability of network-related documentation (LOI, contracts, approvals).
MAIN SKILLS / CAPABILITIES / REQUIREMENTS
Technical & Analytical
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure data and identify trends.
- Solid Excel skills (data analysis, pivot tables, dashboards).
- Good PowerPoint skills for management-level presentations.
- Basic understanding of P&L logic, dealer economics and commercial KPIs.
Soft Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and collaborative attitude.
- Ability to work with deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Problem-solving mindset with willingness to learn.
Experience & Education
- 1–2 years of experience in automotive, consulting, sales support, aftersales or business analysis.
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or similar.
- Exposure to automotive retail or dealer network topics is a plus.
Languages
- Italian: native or fluent.
- English: good working proficiency (written and spoken).
