Your Role

Manage all finance operations topics for Symrise Italy, covering local accounting and tax through to group reporting. You will ensure robust governance and legal compliance, deliver accurate and timely reporting, and act as the key financial partner to local leadership and external stakeholders.

This is a Fixed‑Term (10 Months), with intent to convert to Permanent in 2027.

Accounting, Taxes, Treasury & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate books and records in full compliance with local statutory requirements, IFRS, and corporate policies.
  • Prepare and submit all required tax filings/documentation (e.g., VAT, corporate income tax, local taxes, withholding tax, transfer pricing).
  • Ensure financial compliance with internal policies and all external statutory, regulatory, and fiscal requirements (incl. ESG, DAC6, IFRIC 23, Pillar 2).
  • Deliver "On Time In Full" reporting according to internal and external schedules and regulations.
  • Supervise and manage treasury matters (cash management, payments, liquidity/FX forecasts).
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for local decision‑making boards and shareholders' meetings.
  • Manage relationships with external parties (e.g., banks, external auditors, advisors).
  • Implement and maintain an internal control system aligned with corporate standards.
  • Prepare annual budget and periodic forecasts in line with group guidelines.
  • Oversee other finance‑adjacent topics as needed (risk management, insurance, credit cards, company cars, travel & expense reports).

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve on the local management leadership team, acting as the finance contact for local authorities, external auditors, and business stakeholders.
  • Drive a culture of compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement across finance processes.

About You

  • 8–10 years of experience in a similar finance role within an international environment.
  • Strong accounting and tax expertise, including IFRS knowledge.
  • Proficient in accounting software, reporting tools, Excel, and data transformation processes.
  • Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
