This position will be based at our operational headquarters in Turin, Italy.

What we offer

  • A competitive salary (and benefits) that values people skills and experience.
  • A young and inspiring work environment that encourages diversity and cultural exchange.
  • Individual growth objectives with a dedicated budget for learning/training.
  • Flexible working hours and working locations, we value work-life balance
  • A meaningful work opportunity in a mission-driven company committed to empowering people around the world.

And if you live near one of our offices…

  • Ping pong and football tournaments (sport or gym benefit is also included for everyone).
  • Seasonal celebrations, happy hours, and everyday drinks and snacks at the office.
  • Sunny rooftop lunch breaks and hamacas for relaxation and concentration.

What you'll work on

Shape the Vision

  • Define and manage the roadmap for key hardware products across multiple market segments (Education, Maker, Professional) in alignment with company priorities
  • Identify new product opportunities through market research, user insights, and competitive analysis
  • Turn ideas into actionable product strategies, aligned with Arduino's mission and user needs

Drive Development

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and ensure feasibility
  • Oversee development and industrialization, ensuring consistency with cost, timeline, and quality targets
  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations for prototypes, pre-series, and production ramp-up
  • Ensure that documentation and compliance standards are met for all launches
  • Collaborate with content and support teams to develop key materials, including getting started guides, tutorials, and example projects

Prepare for Go-to-Market and Launch

  • Ideate and lead validation, field testing, and early access programs to gather feedback and fine-tune the product
  • Work with marketing and sales to build product messaging, materials, and training
  • Contribute to pricing and positioning strategies to ensure differentiation and market fit
  • Align all teams involved to ensure operational readiness at launch

Own the Lifecycle

  • Monitor product performance using customer feedback, usage data, and business KPIs
  • Identify improvements, enhancements, and opportunities for iteration or versioning
  • Support lifecycle decisions, including margin reviews, pricing updates, and end-of-life planning

What you bring

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in electronic and embedded systems
  • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of hardware development processes, from prototyping to mass production
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, marketing, and sales
  • Strong grasp of product lifecycle management, including roadmap definition, product requirements, and release planning
  • Comfortable in leveraging data and user insights to guide prioritization, pricing, and performance evaluation
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a proactive attitude toward driving product success
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronic engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory; proficiency in Italian is a strong plus.

Bonus Points

  • Previous experience in managing single board computers or hardware development kits' product portfolio
  • Experience working with open-source hardware or software projects
  • Familiarity with Arduino products, including the use of Arduino IDE, libraries, and toolchains
  • Ability to write or review technical content, such as getting started guides, datasheets, or tutorials
  • Experience with electronic design tools, including KiCad or Altium
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to dive into new and unfamiliar topics

If you're excited about this role or our company but your background doesn't align exactly with the requirements, we still encourage you to apply. We value potential and may find another opportunity that suits you better
