Assistant Manager, This Time Tomorrow, Florence

Are you a passionate, creative, and experienced hospitality professional looking to make a difference in the world of luxury hospitality? We are seeking a talented, dynamic, and entrepreneurial Luxury Hotel Assistant Manager for our Florence location. Join us in creating memorable off-menu experiences for our discerning guests.

What You Will Do

Guest Relations & Communication

  • Manage guest correspondence via email and WhatsApp, especially in the Curator's absence.
  • Resolve client issues with discretion and efficiency.
  • Recommend and promote curated experiences, supporting upselling and guest satisfaction.
  • Bring new local contacts and experience ideas into the company.

Revenue & Market Analysis

  • Manage pricing updates, virtual pricing strategy, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Provide revenue analysis, booking statistics, and operational reports to support strategy.
  • Maintain strong communication with partners including OTAs and offline travel agencies.

System & Process Management

  • Ensure PMS and fiscal cassa connections are updated and functioning at all times.
  • Handle check-ins, check-outs, invoice verification, and fiscal cassa validation.
  • Maintain guest addresses, CRM entries, tasks, calendar updates, and internal reports in PMS.
  • Create and implement standard operating proceduress for PMS-based processes.
  • Respond to all email and agency communication within 24 hours.

Property & Technical Operations

  • Coordinate compliance checks for fire extinguishers, A/C servicing, and legionella sampling, including records and laboratory coordination.
  • Manage technical issues with suppliers/service providers to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Small repairs in the building.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in hospitality, ideally in boutique or luxury hotels.
  • Local Knowledge: Solid understanding of Florence, its neighborhoods, transport, and key attractions to confidently assist guests with recommendations or directions.
  • Skills: Computer literacy (email, booking systems, Excel, Apple Macbook environment)
  • Personality: Reliable, professional, approachable and with a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with luxury guests in a natural sense of hospitality.
  • Languages: Fluent in Italian and English; a third language is a plus.
