Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic – Italy

Your mission The Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of diesel-powered vehicles and earthmoving equipment through accurate diagnostics, high-quality maintenance, and effective repair activities.Key Responsibilities Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain, and test diesel powered vehicles and earthmoving equipment Detect mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and instruments (e.g. charging and starting systems, batteries, ignition systems and timing, fuel injection systems, speed control, wheel balance, and alignment) Prepare and test incoming machines before deployment Provide accurate reports on machine conditions following inspections Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with safety standards and technical specifications Your profile Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of diesel-powered vehicles and earthmoving or heavy construction equipment Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Ability to work independently, manage troubleshooting activities, and hangle on-site technical interventions Willingness to travel for field interventions when required Mandatory on-site availability: this position is fully on-site and not eligible for remote work Residence in Livorno or nearby areas is required, or willingness to relocate to Livorno or surrounding areas prior to employment About us Carve out your career with XCMGWelcome to XCMG - one of the world's largest manufacturers of construction machinery.We develop state-of-the-art excavators, cranes, earthmoving and road construction machinery for our customers in the construction, mining and energy industry.At our site in Krefeld you can find four of our German subsidiaries.In addition to the European headquarter XCMG Europe GmbH, there is also a company for research and development, for strategic purchasing and for sales and services.Together, we drive investment and innovation to a new horizon.XCMG offers you the opportunity to advance your professional career and apply your skills and know-how in a future-oriented and intercultural environment.
