Marketing Manager

JOB OVERVIEWResponsible for overall marketing management, strategies, budget, and activities to drive brand positioning, recognition, and market share in Italy.Ensure consistent brand messaging and Skechers' brand DNA across all marketing efforts.Manage advertising, PR, social media, activations/events, including collaborating with third-party retailers to ensure Skechers' position is reflective of the brand's standards and communicates the brand's messaging, and driving awareness and sales across our lifestyle and performance divisions.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish marketing goals, and budgets, and monitor performance metrics.Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs (short and long-term).Prepare marketing strategies in collaboration with Country Manager and Skechers Corporate.Manage marketing and media budgets effectively and efficiently, including relationships with agenciesMaintain cohesive branding standards across all local marketing initiatives (ads, POS displays, influencers, etc.).Manage PR strategy, including product placement, athletes' sponsorships, celebrity/influencer marketing, and media events.Manage social media channels, content creation, and engagement.Build and manage the trade marketing plan with wholesale to ensure presence and positive positioning in all POS, including e-com.Create impactful in-store presentations that mirror the brand's multiple messages, including windows, shop-in-shops, and online.Lead or participate in business projects to grow the brand activity in the market with existing/new customersCollaborate with the sales team on strategic activities and opportunities with key accounts.Deepen relationships with key accounts to ensure a strong retail presence.Drive Skechers retail store awareness with franchisees and partner with Skechers retail division as needed to support the business.Plan and manage marketing events to increase awareness and are impactful – both from a performance and lifestyle product offering.Measure and control marketing activities' impact and recommend strategy adjustments.Manage third-party vendor relationships (e.g., media agencies, influencers).Negotiate and execute marketing contracts and events with partners.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYDevelop and lead Marketing teamCoach the team to improve performance: set goals, give specific feedback, give clear directions, measure progress, and nurture to ensure they are doing their best for the brand.DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEProven experience as a Marketing Manager, people, and project management, including at least 4 years in a similar position.Ideal related industry experience.Negotiation skills, both internally and externallyMust demonstrate a high degree of budget management and planning, analytics, and ROIOutstanding interpersonal communication and collaboration skillsFlexibility to frequent changes and ability to react quickly.Self-starter with a high level of initiative and a strong sense of ownership and urgency.Must have the ability to work on a project-by-project basis that is driven by deadlines.Must display a high degree of professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.Must possess strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and priorities with urgency.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including in English.Must be able to work independently and as a teamExperience working with global brand and functional understanding working in a branded environment.Must possess excellent computer skills including MS-Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop.Must have knowledge of Google analytics and social media metrics.About SkechersSkechers, a global Fortune 500® company, develops and markets a diverse range of lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel, and accessories.Serving over 180 countries and territories, Skechers connects customers to products through department and specialty stores, e-commerce and digital stores, and through our more than 5,300 Skechers retail locations.Be You - Feel WelcomeSkechers recognises the importance and power of diversity within our business.We ensure that our people processes are fair, transparent and promote equality of opportunity for all employees and job applicants.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities or health conditions, who are otherwise qualified for the job position, to perform the essential functions as detailed above.#J-*****-Ljbffr
