OverviewLHH Lifescience is seeking a highly skilledBusiness Development Managerfor an international company operating in the field ofinspection and packaging machineryfor thepharmaceutical, food & beverage, and metal can industries.The role will oversee the commercial development of theNorth American market(USA & Canada), working with a high level of autonomy and reporting directly to the Global Sales Director based in Europe.ResponsibilitiesCommercial Strategy & Market DevelopmentContribute to defining the annual sales plan, including objectives, market analysis, strategies, budget, and performance measures.Develop and implement sales strategies for the U.S. and Canadian markets, with focus on pharmaceutical manufacturers and secondary segments (food & beverage, chemical).Evaluate market dynamics and proactively recommend adjustments to strategy to ensure competitiveness.Identify product gaps and long-term business opportunities, supporting roadmap and solution evolution.Develop, qualify, train, and support rep/channel agencies, defining cooperation frameworks and ensuring performance.Maintain top-level relationships with key customers, managing negotiations and driving opportunity development.Ensure timely and accurate management of orders, communications, and customer service needs.Create and manage sales estimates, projections, budgets, and forecasts, submitting proposals for HQ approval.Monitor and report monthly on sales vs. targets, ensuring full visibility and accurate CRM data.Support the Global Sales Director in evaluating pricing, distribution policies, and trade show strategy, including scheduling and participation.Your ProfileEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree (4-year college).Minimum 5 years of experience in the packaging machinery industry, within the pharmaceutical sector.Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and business development.Skills & CompetenciesStrong sales and customer development capabilities; proven success in developing distributor/agent networks.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently, remotely, and in coordination with international teams.High level of professionalism, organization, and accountability, with strong ownership and "hands on" approach.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Travel & Physical RequirementsAbility to travel locally, nationally, and internationally as needed.What We OfferA strategic and autonomous role in a growing, technologically advanced global organization.Direct involvement in shaping the development of a key market with strong growth potential.Close collaboration with the Global Sales Director and cross-functional teams in Italy.Competitive compensation package with performance components.«I candidati, nel rispetto del D.lgs.********, D.lgs.******** e D.lgs.********, sono invitati a leggere l'informativa sulla privacy consultabile sotto il form di richiesta dati della pagina di candidatura (Regolamento UE n. ********).L'offerta è rivolta a candidati di entrambi i sessi, nel rispetto del D.lgs.******** e della normativa vigente in materia di pari opportunità.L'azienda promuove un ambiente di lavoro inclusivo e garantisce pari opportunità a tutte le persone, indipendentemente da genere, età, origine, orientamento sessuale o disabilità.»#J-*****-Ljbffr
