We are seeking a detail-oriented, and organized Accountant responsible for maintaining accurate financial and accounting records, handling day-to-day accounting tasks, managing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role will play a key part in driving data-driven decision-making across the business by providing insights into financial performance, accounting, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in financial software.Record day-to-day financial transactions (e.g., Perform reconciliations of accountsPrepare invoices and track accounts receivable/payablePrepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and annual closing processes.Liaises with stakeholders to prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission of tax-related documents; support audits by providing necessary documentation.Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.Maintain and improve financial databases and reporting systemsSupports the Financial Director in monitoring compliance by maintaining and ensuring accounting and company proceduresBA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance and/or related fieldBi-lingual English/Spanish is a mustA minimum of 2-5 years of Agency and/or other service-firm or professional services related accounting/finance experiencePaprika software experience is a big plus
