Job DescriptionPrimary FunctionMolecular Account Executive is responsible for managing and expanding molecular activities for assigned customers in the defined country territory.The role includes acting as an advisor/consultant to customers.Account Manager is responsible for retention and value expansion with assigned Abbott existing accounts and new possible accounts.Major ResponsibilitiesNew business acquisitionRenewals of expiring contracts or new tender issued by existing customers, ensuring price negotiations give customers the right pricesEstablish value propositions and build business casesPost-sale involvement with customersDevelop broad relationships with key molecular lab stakeholders, including decision-making units such as clinicians and purchasing departmentsServe customers' requests and forward them to the Service department on technical and application questionsBecome an advisor/consultant to customers on lab productivity, use, and designWork actively in CRM system to keep customer data up to date, report activities and market dataServe as single point of contact that responds to customers promptlyEducationBachelor or Master degree or equivalentBackgroundExperience from IVD laboratory diagnostics businessExperience from sales preferred but not mandatory if having strong experience from the molecular diagnostic fieldExperience in the molecular laboratory field mandatoryStrong experience maintaining and developing customer relationshipsNative in local language/English & other languages advantageousAccount Manager requires regular average 70% travel activityCompensationBase pay for this position is N/A.In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.Job FamilySales ForceDivisionAMD MolecularLocationItaly – Milan: Viale Edison 110, Edison Park CentreAdditional LocationsNo additional locations listed.Work ShiftStandardTravelYes, 75% of the timeMedical SurveillanceNot ApplicableSignificant Work ActivitiesNot Applicable
