We aspire to shape future mobility dreams and turn them into reality."Joining the Marelli Electronics team means becoming a part of something bigger, a place where you can explore your potential and pioneer innovation.As a global yet fast-evolving company, we're looking for team members who want to grow and evolve with us.About the PositionWe are looking for a Mechanics Engineer to join the EMEA Center of Excellence team.This position is based at our office in Corbetta.ResponsibilitiesDirectly handle co-design activities with the customer in the concept and technical feasibility phase (including technical presentations for internal stakeholders and the customer).Monitor mechanical design activities, schedule, quality targets and BOM, development costs, and plan corrective actions in case of deviations with respect to assigned targets.Perform mechanical requirements and Standards analysis, making available a deviations list and formal reporting.Define product architecture and component design according to project constraints, legislation, internal and customer requirements (including performance & reliability test requirements).Assure presence at the customer site for mechanical design related items and formal matchability events.Drive technical development during the product/part design phase (ensuring BOM, 2Ds, 3Ds, assembly & customer drawings availability according to schedule).Drive design verifications during the product/part design phase (tolerance calculation, thermal/FEM/MF simulations, engineering verifications, FMEA, etc.).Assure fulfillment of development process & compliance with technical guidelines & lessons learnt.Assure through internal/external benchmarks reuse and cost effectiveness of design solutions.Assure fulfillment of customer requirements on aesthetic, performance and reliability point of view.Assure the release of a design agreed and approved by process engineering in formal DRs.Guarantee support to plant and customer quality for internal/external claims analysis and fixing.Assure timely support, in agreement with the Technical Project Manager, for quality issues on projects under his responsibility.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Professional experience of at least 3–5 years in developing displays and/or electronic control units, preferably within the automotive sector.Proficiency in mechanical design applied to the integration of electronic components, preferably using 3D CAD software such as NX (preferred), CATIA or SolidWorks.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations applicable to automotive components in the passenger compartment.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various functions and customers.Proficiency in English (level B2) for communication with global teams.Availability to travel inside and outside the EU for business trips.Proven experience in electromechanical kinematic systems.Other skills that we would welcomeKnowledge of thermoplastic materials and elastomers part design.Knowledge of metal sheets and sintered metal parts design.Experience in first-off tools, off-tools & off-process parts approval.Materials and treatments base knowledge.Plastic parts post-processing knowledge (painting, chroming, annealing, etc.).Root cause analysis.Cost engineering.Problem solving and risk management attitude.ExpectationsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all phases from conception to execution are completed on time and within budget.Innovation and continuous improvement: ability to identify opportunities for enhancing existing processes and optimizing designs for better performance and cost efficiency.Effective leadership: guide and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and cultivate a collaborative work environment.Position OfferFast-paced yet supportive and high-performing international team with an inspiring ambition to transform the future of mobility.Support in onboarding and further training that will set you up with Marelli's speed.A hybrid work model, helping you to achieve work-life balance—combining the best of both working remotely for focus time and purposeful co-creation time in the office.Take the next stepWe will drive the world towards a safer, greener, and better-connected future.Are you ready to make your mark, shape the future of the automotive industry, and drive the growth of the Electronics business?Talk to usTo apply, submit your application via our website.Location: Corbetta, Lombardy, Italy.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Product ManagementIndustriesMotor Vehicle Manufacturing#J-*****-Ljbffr
