DescriptionJob SummaryThe Women Leather Goods Product Assistant will support the Design Team to manage the product development process by working closely with the Designers, Collection Coordinator, Product Development and Merchandising teams to develop each special project from initial concept through to finished product.Key ResponsibilitiesReview all products developed by recording and sending out all samples to the appropriate teams and by ensuring that all deadlines are metCoordinate in all product development steps throughout the entire process, from inspiration to project deliverySupport the WSLG Design Director in the preparation of the OverviewSupport the preparation of the review with the Artistic Director by setting up meeting rooms with all the relevant samples and by ensuring that all relevant documents are up to date and available for the meetingKeep track of all draws, samples, prototypes and ensure that all information are stored in the shared drive, iCloud folders and physical archiveEnsure all information about sketches and launches are properly recorded in the online tool, shared with all departments involved, such as product development, r&d, design studioManage all requests coming from different departments and ensure that all requests are handled in a timely mannerManage the communications with Gucci ArtLab, Merchandising and daily follow up of prototyping and sample developmentsCoordinate and attend all fittings from prototype to product deliverySupport the Collection Coordinator in costing activities for raw materials, prototypes and finished productsSupport design team and Milan / Florence warehouses to properly manage products shipments (respecting deadlines, ensuring correct shipment procedures are followed)Support Design Team in research and rental activities for both research trips and Gucci Archive selections.Manage invoices and constantly check rental deadlinesKey RequirementsFunctional3-5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on Leather Goods product category is considered a plus;Good knowledge of Microsoft SuiteBasic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is a plusGood organization skills and great attention to details when completing a task;Good communication skills with the ability to interface regularly with internal and external partners at all levelsProblem solving and solution orientated with a 'Can-do' attitudeFluency in both Italian and EnglishWhy work with us?Gucci is committed to building a diverse workforce.We believe diversity in all its forms – gender, age, nationality, culture, religious beliefs and sexual orientation – enriches the workplace.It opens up opportunities for people to express their talent, both individually and collectively and it helps foster our ability to adapt to a changing world.As an Equal Opportunity Employer we welcome and consider applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of their background.Job TypeRegularStart Date**********ScheduleFull timeOrganizationGuccio Gucci S.p.A.#J-*****-Ljbffr
