Culinary Deputy Manager (Global Sporting Event) - Italian & English SpeakingJoin to apply for theCulinary Deputy Manager (Global Sporting Event) - Italian & English Speakingrole atThe iLUKA Collective.The Culinary Deputy Manager will work closely with hotels, restaurants and venues to manage all food and beverage provision of the program, ensuring a high quality and positive catering experience for all guests by ensuring service, food, and beverage served surpass guest expectations in variety, freshness, presentation, and originality.We are recruiting two Culinary Deputy Managers for the period from 12th Jan **** to 24th Feb ****.Candidates must live in or have accommodation in Milan.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a clear understanding of the daily FB programme schedule and contentBuild strong working relationships with the venue staff, including chefs, to ensure a solid understanding of iLUKA's requirementsManage the hospitality team onsite and all elements of FB within the programmeWork collaboratively with the iLUKA Overlay Team to ensure all Hospitality spaces are presented immaculately at all timesOversee preparation, set-up and execution of all FB Hospitality areas/functions with Overlay TeamDevelop event running schedules for all relevant venuesDesign and manage effective people-flow systems at each venue in the buffet and hospitality areas, especially at peak timesReview and understand all FB procedures for dealing with all possible circumstances, including additional guests, changes to table plans and schedule changesLiaise with all relevant venue teams and manage on-site quality control of all FB elements, ensuring guests receive a high level of service at all timesSet up daily meetings and liaise effectively with the onsite catering teamLiaise with venue teams to ensure all relevant Health Safety policies are implemented and adhered toLiaise with operational teams to develop communication plans and procedures for advancing and hosting/staffing at each venueLiaise with Guest Communications Team to ensure each lounge, venue restaurant is prepared for guest numbers and any special requirementsDaily reconciliation of guest attendance at each venueFirst point of contact for Hospitality Teams for any FB related issuesSkills, Knowledge, ExpertiseFluent in English and ItalianExcellent organisational skillsQuality service oriented with a\"Can Do\"attitudeFood & Beverage Management experienceKitchen Experience requiredPrevious experience of event hospitalityStrong time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlinesExcellent client and supplier liaison skillsMethodical, accurate and an eye for detailAbility to delegate effectively and a willingness to lead by exampleExcellent IT skills, especially Excel and PowerPointAbility to multi-task and meet strict deadlinesFlexible approach to working hours and ability to adapt to a dynamic environmentHigh Level understanding of what constitutes excellent customer serviceAble to build rapport at all levelsProactive, positive approach to all tasks and a high degree of reliabilityAbility to work in a calm, professional mannerAbility to lead, train and motivate staff to deliver exemplary serviceAttributesHigh energy, comfortable working potentially long hours in a demanding but rewarding and friendly environmentFlexible, enthusiastic, confident, outgoingWilling to roll sleeves up and get involvedPassionate about sport, hospitality and deliveryAble to work in a calm, kind and professional manner in a pressured environmentAbility to prioritise a demanding workloadSeniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeContractJob functionManagement and ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at The iLUKA Collective by 2x.Get notified about new Culinary Manager jobs inMilan, Lombardy, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
