Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consultingis searching for an international Food Ingredients Company with a global Network of Plants, Sales offices, R&D Centres theEuropean Sales & Marketing Director Food IngredientsLocation: Northern Italy onsiteThis is a Business 2 Business job, please apply only if you have experience in Flavours, Colours, Extracts, dried Fruit and Vegetables and other value added Food IngredientsRole: The Director of Sales & Marketing develops and directs all sales, marketing and business developmentactivities in EuropeEssential Duties and Responsibilities· Developing a sales and marketing plan to achieve set growth targets.· Developing and managing an effective sales and distributor teamTasksQualifications and experience:· Successful track record of building and growing sales and profitability in a food ingredient business (e.g.Flavours, Colours, Extracts, Powders)· closing sales and satisfying customers at senior levels including Directors, VPs and owners / executives· Highly self-motivated; able to operate autonomously in a dynamic environment.· Strong fit with the Company's culture and unwavering commitment to customer satisfactionRequirementsQualifications and experience:· Bachelor or Master's degree with a preference for sciences or food technology / ingredients and/or MBA· Fluent in English, Italian and other european languages are an asset· Minimum 10 years' experience in a B2B sales environment within the food industryBenefitsThis is a B2B jobThis no job for candidates coming from FMCG, Horeca, Hotelf or Restaurants
