OverviewMET Group is an integrated European energy company headquartered in Switzerland, operating in natural gas and power with a focus on multi-commodity wholesale, trading and sales, energy infrastructure and industrial assets.The Group is present in 21 countries and operates in 30 national gas markets and 39 international trading hubs, employing over 1,000 staff.MET Italia Energy Solutions, a UNI CEI *****-certified ESCo, supports companies and communities in energy efficiency, reducing consumption, optimizing management and generating societal savings.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage permitting for renewable energy and energy community projects, preparing, submitting, and monitoring applications with local, regional, and national authorities.Ensure compliance with environmental, planning, construction, and operational regulations, identify, and mitigate risks that could delay projects.Manage grid access and interconnection applications with TSOs and DSOs, ensuring adherence to grid codes, standards, and technical requirements.Support technical teams in designing interconnection facilities and distribution networks, liaising with system operators to secure approvals and resolve connection issues.Facilitate the establishment, registration, and regulatory compliance of Energy Communities, acting as liaison between citizens, cooperatives, municipalities, and regulators.Advise communities on grid integration, metering, and allocation of shared energy, monitor regulatory frameworks and policies, and provide guidance to internal teams.Promote citizen participation through stakeholder engagement, training, and outreach initiatives.Build and maintain strong relationships with permitting authorities, regulators, municipalities, energy communities, and system operators, serving as the main point of contact for internal teams.Maintain accurate records of permits, grid agreements, and Energy Community registrations, ensuring compliance with all legal, technical, and regulatory requirements.Provide regular status reports to management on permitting, grid, and Energy Community projects.QualificationsBSc or MSc in Engineering, Environmental Science, Energy Systems, or related field.3–5 years of experience in permitting, grid connection, or community energy projects.Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks for Energy Communities, collective self-consumption, and distributed energy systems.Proven experience interacting with authorities, municipalities, community cooperatives, and system operators.Strong project management skills, coordinating multiple stakeholders effectively.Fluency in Italian and excellent command of English.Additional InformationIn this role you will have the opportunity to make a large impact on the company's overall results.You will be part of a dynamic, innovative growth company that embraces new ideas and encourages everyone to contribute to our strategy.We have an open, informal culture and trust our people to get the job done, giving you plenty of autonomy.You will work in an international environment with opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from other MET subsidiaries, mainly from the Swiss office.Seniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeIndustryOil and Gas#J-*****-Ljbffr
