Legal Entity Accounting Manager, Conductor, ItalyApply for theLegal Entity Accounting Manager, Conductor, Italyrole atJohnson & Johnson.We believe health is everything.Our strength in healthcare innovation empowers us to build a world where complex diseases are prevented, treated, and cured.Job OverviewGlobal Services Finance is the Johnson & Johnson finance center located in many regions of the world.This position is located in Prague, Czechia or in Milan/Rome, Italy.The main goal of this position as part of Legal Entity Accounting Team is to deliver compliant local financial services to J&J affiliates.The LE Accounting Manager is responsible for local statutory accounts and statements for specific companies under their responsibility.Core ResponsibilitiesFull responsibility for the local statutory reporting requirements of companies in-scope.Oversee the preparation by a third-party provider of the local statutory financial statements.Coordinate and execute (when applicable) corrective action plans related to the statutory financial statements process.Monitor, analyze, and review department work and processes to develop more efficient procedures while maintaining high accuracy.Apply a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.Key point of contact for all technical statutory accounting queries; establish and maintain relationships with external service providers, J&J corporate tax teams, external audit teams (PwC), and local management teams.Ensure all statutory closing requirements are completed.Support J&J corporate tax centers by delivering necessary data for corporate tax matters.Ensure standardized processes with local audit (PWC) and third-party providers; liaise with Auditors, Local Management teams, and other stakeholders such as Tax Advisors.Provide detailed guidance on complex business and financial system issues to maintain overall control.Close interaction with A2R Group and other Global Services Groups (specific statutory requirements).Support projects (provide insights into statutory and tax requirements or related processes).Interact with other Global teams to benchmark process and address action plans.People ManagementRecruit, lead, motivate, and develop the team.Clear communication of job expectations.Planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.Coaching and mentoring of team members.Foster an environment of respect, teamwork, innovation, and sharing of ideas.Compliance StatementEnsure strong internal controls are in place to achieve adequate compliance with SOX controls and Local GAAP according to jurisdiction requirements.Keep businesses compliant with various local accounting regulations.Work transparently and communicate clearly with senior leadership.Committed to meeting all corporate and local deadlines.QualificationsCommitted to meeting all corporate and local deadlines.LanguagesFluent English.Fluent Italian.Experience RequiredPrevious job experience in one of the Big 4 companies or other audit firm preferred.Experience in Italian statutory accounting and tax.Experience with GAAP conversions and related agenda.Skills & CompetenciesGreat analytical skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate well in presentations for leadership.Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills.Proven business partnering skills, especially with external audit teams.Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines, thrive in a fast-paced environment.Great US GAAP accounting knowledge.Great local GAAP knowledge.Willingness to travel (~20%).Leadership Skills DefinitionResults & Performance Driven: Takes personal responsibility for delivering results, accepts stretch goals, coordinates tasks and orchestrates teams for audits.Sense of Urgency: Quickly assimilates information, demonstrates focus for action on priorities.Strategic Thinking: Understands J&J's and the local operating company's strategy; quick learner.Intellectual Curiosity: Keeps updated on processes and business needs, seeks learning opportunities.Prudent Risk Taking: Makes decisions based on facts.Organisation & Talent Development: Appreciates talent, learns from mistakes, works effectively with diverse people.Collaboration & Teaming: Develops relationships across areas, manages complex matrix environments.#J-*****-Ljbffr
