Analog Design Engineer Power Management

Overview We seek an Engineer who will take part in the entire process of IP development starting from architecture definition and specification through design and verification ending on lab validation and debug support and be in charge of development of best-in-class power management solutions and verify its compliancy to specification pre and post layout.They will support layout team DFT and AMS teams during design phase.We require someone who can closely collaborate with the validation team on debugging and characterization of the block and with the test team ensuring production test quality and coverage.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in architecture definition, specification, design, verification, lab validation, debugging support, and production transition for IP blocks.Develop and verify power management solutions, and ensure compliance with specifications pre- and post-layout.Support the layout team, DFT, and AMS teams during the design phase.Collaborate with the validation team for debugging and characterization of the block.Collaborate with the test team to ensure production test quality and coverage.QualificationsDeep knowledge of transistor level designExperience in design verification and simulation of power management circuits such as linear regulators (LDO), data conversion (ADC / DAC), voltage references, charge pumps, amplifiers, and comparators meeting power, area, and performance specificationsExpertise in design analyses methods such as small signal, feedback loop systems, and noise analysisAbility to work closely with the layout team to ensure quality and compactness of the block layoutAbility to cooperate with the lab team for block characterization and debuggingKnowledge of control algorithms would be an advantageAble to work well within the team, take ownership and encourage othersFluency in English is requiredEither MSc or PhD in Electronic Engineering or equivalentExpertise in Delta Sigma design is beneficialKnowledge of IC Production Test and QualificationKnowledge of hardware description languages (VHDL Verilog) and use of MatlabPrevious expertise as a technical leader in complex projectsEquality and inclusion: Apple is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusion and diversityApple is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to applicants with disabilitiesEmployment Type : Full TimeExperience : yearsVacancy : 1Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.We take affirmative action to ensure equal opportunity for all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status or other legally protected characteristics.Apple is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to applicants with physical and mental disabilities.#J-*****-Ljbffr
