Location: Northern Italy (onsite)This is a Business-to-Business (B2B) role; candidates from FMCG, hospitality, hotel or restaurant sectors are not considered.Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consultation (GFIC) is an international food ingredients company with a global network of plants, sales offices and R&D centres.Role : Director of Sales & Marketing – responsible for developing and directing all sales, marketing and business development activities in Europe.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a sales and marketing plan to achieve set growth targets.Develop and manage an effective sales and distributor team.Lead business development activities across European markets.Qualifications and ExperienceSuccessful track record of building and growing sales and profitability in a food ingredient business (e.g., flavours, colours, extracts, powders).Experience closing sales and satisfying customers at senior levels including Directors, VPs and owners/executives.Highly self-motivated; able to operate autonomously in a dynamic environment.Strong fit with the company's culture and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.Bachelor's or Master's degree in sciences or food technology/ingredients, and/or MBA.Fluent in English and Italian; knowledge of other European languages is an asset.Minimum 10 years' experience in a B2B sales environment within the food industry.Other DetailsSeniority level: DirectorEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Business Development, Sales, and MarketingIndustries: Food and Beverage Manufacturing and Food and Beverage Services#J-*****-Ljbffr
