OverviewTitle:Compressors & Steam Turbines EngineerDescription:Aramco energizes the world economy.Aramco occupies a special position in the global energy industry as one of the world's largest producers of hydrocarbon energy and chemicals, with among the lowest Upstream carbon intensities of any major producer.With significant investment in technology and infrastructure, we strive to maximize the value of the energy we produce for the world along with a commitment to enhance Aramco's value to society.Headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we combine market discipline with a long-term view of the future, supported by nine decades of experience as responsible stewards of the Kingdom's hydrocarbon resources.This responsibility has driven us to deliver significant societal and economic benefits to the Kingdom and to communities, economies, and countries that rely on the energy we supply.We are among the most profitable companies in the world and top five by market capitalization.Overview:Compressors & Steam Turbines Specialist with extensive related experience and strong technical skills in Rotating Equipment, with a focus on compressors and steam turbines.The candidate will work with the Rotating Equipment Division (RED) to provide high-level technical consultations/support to company operating facilities, joint ventures, and major projects from early stages through startup.The role includes developing value-adding concepts and technologies to address corporate challenges and enhance operations, and maintaining Saudi Aramco engineering standards and best practices related to rotating equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical consultations for equipment including dynamic (e.g., centrifugal) compressors, positive displacement (e.g., reciprocating) compressors, gearboxes and steam turbines.Involve in specifying and reviewing equipment designs, selections, ratings and specifications for new projects including modifications to existing equipment.Maintain and improve the company's standards for compressors, gearboxes and steam turbines.Develop/introduce new technologies or innovative ideas to address business challenges or enhance equipment reliability, availability, and performance.Lead in developing and recommending solutions to solve plant machinery technical issues.Provide work direction, technical advice and mentoring to teammates and junior engineers.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized program; advanced degree preferred.At least 20 years of experience in Rotating Equipment with a focus on compressors and steam turbines within refineries, chemical plants, gas plants, or similar facilities.Experience in analyzing performance, troubleshooting, selecting, and repair of process gas compressors, steam turbines and gearboxes, including seals, bearings and lube oil systems.Detailed knowledge of international codes and API standards related to rotating equipment with emphasis on compressors, steam turbines and gearboxes.Category II vibration analyst certification.Must submit at least two recent engineering reports or case histories on rotating equipment authored by you, including compressors and steam turbines problems.Work Location and Work ScheduleWork Location: Within Saudi Arabia – to be specified in the job offer.Work Schedule: Full Time – to be specified in the job offer.Working EnvironmentOur high-performing employees are drawn by challenging and rewarding professional, technical and industrial opportunities, and are remunerated accordingly.At Aramco, our people work on world-scale projects, supported by capital and technology investments.We invest heavily in talent development and have a history of educating and training our workforce through workforce development programs.#J-*****-Ljbffr
