The opportunityWe are currently seeking aLegal and Compliance Officerto join our team.In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that the company operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.?? Salary32K – 36K?? ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective compliance programme to prevent and detect violations of legal and regulatory requirements;Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the business;Provide support to internal departments by delivering in-depth analyses and legal advice;Develop and enforce policies and procedures to promote compliance throughout the organisation;Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters;Conduct internal audits and investigations to monitor and assess compliance levels;Collaborate with other departments to ensure that compliance requirements are fully integrated into business processes and practices.??? RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field;Proven experience in a compliance role;In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;An aptitude for understanding Information & Communication Technology–related processes and risks will be considered a plus;Previous experience with management systems (ISO standards) will be considered a plus;Good command of written and spoken English;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information;Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.????
