This is Worldline We are the innovators at the heart of the payments technology industry, shaping how the world pays and gets paid.The solutions our people build today power the growth of millions of businesses tomorrow.From your local coffee shop to unicorns and international banks.From San Francisco to Auckland.We are in every corner of the world, in every part of commerce.And just as we help our customers accelerate their business, we are committed to helping our people accelerate their careers.Together, we shape the evolution.The Opportunity As a Legal trainee you will join the Italian Legal Department, within a team consisting of 4 lawyers, who work to support the global business lines operating in Italy, for a 6-month paid internship.Day-to-Day Responsibilities You will support handling of claims (reclami), enforcement procedures and requests of information from authorities (indagini); You willprovide support to the management of ordinary corporate governance of WL Group companies in Italy, with regards to Boards of Directors and Shareholders' Meetings, (such as preparation of notices of meetings, minutes and supporting documentation; maintenance of corporate books, drafting and reviewing relevant corporate documentation; You will provide support with respect to extraordinary transactions (contributions of business units, company acquisitions, mergers, demergers); You will carry out legal research (doctrine and jurisprudence) to provide advice and drafting of opinions with respect to corporate law issues; Supporttoother internal functions with respect to corporate law issues.You will provide day-to-day assistance on legal matters; You willcollaborate in reviewing/updating internal policies; You willconduct research on legislation and case law; You willsupport the legal team on simple legal documents.Who Are We Looking For We look for big thinkers.People who can drive positive change, step up and show what's next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow.In practice this means: You have a Law degree achieved with the highest honors; Dissertation on Banking, Fintech or IT matters is considered an asset; You are fluent in English, certification is considered a plus; PreviousInternship experience in a
