Marketing DirectorRome, Italy | Hybrid (3 days/week in office + travel)Carpe Diem Tours is seeking a Marketing Director to define, lead, and execute our marketing strategy across all channels.You will lead multiple in-house marketing teams, own the marketing budget, collaborate closely with senior leadership, and oversee external partners.You will take a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities, improving performance, and evolving the marketing function, while acting as a key connection between the marketing department, the CEO, and the Board of Directors.Your focus will be on driving growth in line with company projections while maintaining and evolving an established brand.Marketing Functions You Will OwnPerformance & Channel Marketing: OTA marketing (leading the in-house OTA team), SEO, PPC strategy and vendor managementContent, Copy & Social Media: Oversight of all marketing copy and the in-house Copywriter and Social Media / Content teamLifecycle & Email Marketing: Digital Experience: Website content, performance, CRO, UX, and coordination with the internal tech teamBrand, Innovation & Emerging Channels: Brand stewardship, AI/LLM search visibility, and testing new tools and approachesDefine and evolve marketing strategy in collaboration with leadershipLead, align, and develop four in-house marketing teamsOwn and manage the marketing budget and investment decisionsEnsure brand consistency while supporting ongoing evolutionCreative thinker grounded in data and resultsWorking knowledge of AI and LLM tools applied practically in marketingExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English3–5 years of marketing experience with increasing responsibility~ Proven experience leading teams and owning marketing budgets~ Fluency in English requiredHybrid role based in RomeIn-office 3 days per weekTravel to other Carpe Diem Tours destinations as need
