Temporary Production & Operations Setup Manager - Industrial Automation / Robotics Sector Your new company Hays Solutions, part of the multinational Hays Group listed on the London Stock Exchange, provides consulting services in Engineering and IT, with the goal of contributing to the success and technological progress of people and organizations. For one of our clients, a leader in the Industrial Automation/ Robotic sector, we are looking for Temporary Production & Operations Setup Manager Your Tasks Set up production processes, assembly flows, workstation methods, and SOPs. Define plant layout and supervise machinery installation. Create the warehouse management model, codification, and traceability. Structure the industrial BOM and procurement flows. Lead supplier scouting and qualification, ensuring technical and contractual compliance. Implement quality checkpoints (incoming, in‐process, final). Deploy KPIs, reporting tools, and dashboards. Support ERP/MES definition and initial configuration. Ensure complete technical and process documentation. Train and transfer ownership to the internal team. Technical Skills 10+ years in production, operations, or industrialization in mechatronics or automation. Proven experience in setting up production systems from zero. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, DFM/DFT, and traceability. Experience with BOM, ERP/MES, and supplier qualification. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and relevant industrial standards. Education Degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
