Spring Works Therapeutics, a healthcare company of Merck KGa A, Darmstadt, Germany, is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to improving the lives of patients with rare tumors. We developed and are commercializing the first and only FDA and EC approved medicine for adults with desmoid tumors and the first and only FDA and EC approved medicine for both adults and children with neurofibromatosis type 1 associated plexiform neurofibromas (NF1-PN). Key Responsibilities
Will IncludeDevelop and implement data-driven sales strategies to meet defined revenue targets across assigned territoriesLead a team of field representatives through coaching, performance management, and talent developmentDesign and implement performance tracking systems with clear KPIs for call rates, account penetration, and prescription growthProvide strategic guidance to the sales force while ensuring omnichannel engagement approaches with key customersAnalyze market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and optimize territory alignmentProduce monthly performance reports and quarterly forecasts to inform strategic decision-makingBuild relationships with key opinion leaders while ensuring compliant engagement practicesCollaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing to develop integrated account strategies for priority institutionsEnsure field compliance with industry regulations and company policies while maintaining ethical standardsExtensive experience as People Manager in order to build-up the organization, lead professional development initiatives, act as a role‐modelWho You Are7+ years of experience in a senior role within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on rare Oncology or closely related rare diseases, with experience in drug launch preferredIn-depth knowledge of the local HC system and hospital environment, incl. reimbursement processes and stakeholder dynamicsExperience in building and leading high‐performing, cross‐functional, sales‐oriented teams, building strong relationships, and achieving results in a rare field or closely related pharmaceutical industryExtensive experience with CRM systems and digital tools to enhance sales force effectiveness, track KPIs, and drive customer engagementExceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage key decision-makersStrong results‐oriented mindset, with a track record of consistently delivering high performance and exceeding goalsFlexibility/willingness to engage in domestic and international travelBSc or higher in Business Administration, Health Economics, Life Sciences or other related areasFluency in EnglishWhat we offerWe are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
