Business Development Intern Italy

• Location: Milan, Italy or Munich, Germany

• Employment Type: Internship Full-time

• Salary Range: 2,000 EUR monthly (for Italy) or 2,500 EUR monthly (for Germany)

• Working Mode: Office first set-up

• Language Requirement: C1 level English and Italian

As a Business Development Intern, you will support the intersection of commercial, policy, and marketing activities, contributing to both strategic initiatives and hands-on execution.

• Conduct market and policy research on current and emerging electricity market and trading topics related to batteries

• Prepare high-quality presentations for internal teams, management, and clients

• Support the setup, preparation, and participation in webinars and external conferences

• Assist the sales team with client requests and documentation

• Provide support to marketing activities, including content creation and event organization

• Participate in industry association events and contribute to providing feedback in public consultations

• Analyze documents and consolidate insights for business development

• Contribute to content on our website and to whitepapers to be published externally

Mandatory Requirements

• At least last year Bachelors

• C1 English and Italian

• Strong interest in electricity trading, batteries, market policy, and commercial strategy

• Ability to clearly synthesize and communicate complex information

• Excellent research and analytical abilities

• Comfortable engaging with colleagues, clients, and external partners

• Enjoyment of dynamic environments with diverse and evolving responsibilities

• Strong communication and presentation skills

Skills to Set You Apart

• Prior experience in energy markets, policy analysis, or business development

• Experience creating presentations for senior stakeholders

• Exposure to public affairs or regulatory topics

• Content creation or marketing experience

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

I bring over 15 years of global experience in the energy storage sector, having worked across a range of roles—from technical support and project execution to business development and sales—with companies like Enel, Tesla, and Toshiba. Most recently, I led the Business Development team at Enel, where we developed and executed over 1 GW of storage assets worldwide, both front-of-the-meter and behind-the-meter.

At Entrix, we’re building something ambitious—a smart, tech-driven platform designed to unlock the full value of battery storage in energy markets. While the Italian market has traditionally been dominated by utilities, upcoming regulatory improvements and support schemes are opening the door for new players.
