The Intern will join the Corporate and Leveraged Finance (CLF) desk, as support to the Corporate and Corporate Acquisition Financing team in Milan.
She / He will be involved in:
- Analysis of the existing and prospect clients of the bank in the context of financing transactions related to refinancing of existing debt facilities, capex, liquidity back-up lines, acquisitions;
- Financial Modelling and Business Plan analysis for financings
- Preparation of internal presentations and pitches
- Preparation of internal papers to present financing transactions in credit committees;
- Liaising with other teams of the bank in relation to transaction originated and / or syndicated by DOD
- Preparation of post-transaction memorandum;
- Monitoring of CLF Lending portfolio (exposures, RWA…)
- Market, benchmark and comparable analysis through Dealogic, Loanconnector and internal tools
- Analysis of main players within the Italian lending market (data analysis and PowerPoint presentations) for internal and clients/investors meetings purposes The Intern will deal with an international, challenging and rapidly changing environment, which requires multi-tasking skills, relational skills, capabilities to work with time management and to respect strict deadlines. This experience will provide the intern with an unique opportunity to improve her/his knowledge of the loan market, with a focus on originating and structuring of loans for the large and mid-cap Italian corporates
Requirements:
LANGUAGES Fluency in written and spoken English. French is a plus IT Proficiency in Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) Knowledge of Bloomberg platform will be a plus SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE Strong academic track record, preferably with a focus on subjects inherent Financial Markets/Intermediaries, Financial Products/Securities, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Accounting Analytical and quantitative skills Proficiency in writing and presentation skills Previous experience in a similar position will be a plus PERSONAL SKILLS Positive and hard-working attitude Willingness to learn Flexibility Accountability, motivation and commitment Starting Date: September 2026
