Job Purpose

As a Business Developer and Technical Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and providing exceptional technical support at the area/regional level. Leveraging your broad subject matter expertise and keen business insight, you will develop initiatives that have a significant impact across departments. Acting as a liaison with Regional and Group Business Development (BD) and product/application experts, you will convert product and application understanding into tangible business opportunities, ensuring the successful implementation of win plans within the Area. Additionally, you will be responsible for enhancing product knowledge through training, documentation, and continuous market analysis, thereby contributing to the company's competitive edge in the market segment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business and Sales Support:

• Convert product and application understanding into business growth opportunities.

• Participate in business development projects and drive activities to support the implementation of the Area's win plans.

• Collect and analyze market and competitor data to inform strategic decision-making.

• Support the development of business plans for business development projects.

• Collaborate with relevant partners in the value chain to implement business development projects.

• Represent the market segment at various events such as exhibitions, customer events, and seminars.

Product Knowhow and Documentation:

• Ensure that all relevant product documentation is updated and distributed effectively.

• Lead trainings and develop training materials to enhance product knowledge.

• Establish global and regional commitment to the product knowledge sharing process.

• Continuously examine competitor products together with the competitor team to stay informed about market trends.

Key Success Factors

• Experience managing defined processes within Business Development and Global Market Segment.

• Industry experience within a business environment, preferably in a large manufacturing environment.

• 5-6 years of relevant work experience in addition to formal education.

Technical, Functional, and Professional Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of the plans, processes, and activities within the functional area in the Global Market Segment.

• Strong ability to influence others and drive results.

• Great understanding of relevant systems, local laws, and regulations applicable to the Global Market Segment.
