About the role

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Catering and Conference Services Supervisor to join our iconic Hotel, Four Seasons Milano in Italy

What will you do:

Four Season Hotel Milano is looking for a dynamic team member who has a clear sales approach, enjoys the proactive sales part as much as planning for events and groups alike. The Catering and Conference Services Supervisor conducts all aspects of negotiation and organization of groups and events. 

The main purpose of the job is to co-ordinate all arrangements regarding the organization of events and groups and assist the Event Manager with site inspections, proposals, and other administrative tasks of the department.

Collaborate with the appropriate Department in respect of rooming list, special arrangements, any F&B requirements, transfer and transport, account, and billing instructions.

Liaise with external providers to create synergies between the property and the client’s requirements.

Cooperate with the Accounting department in respect of client account instructions.

·Verify prior to arrival that all involved departments have the most updated information in regard to group and event requirements and to get personal details for all group delegates from Sales Manager, e.g. Banqueting orders, Group Resumé, menus.

What you bring

Luxury hotel Sales & Event experience (minimum two years).

Excellent Italian and English communications skills (verbal and written).

Positive attitude and effective interpersonal skills, time management and organization abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher. Knowledge of Salesforce and Opera is preferred.

Schedule & Hours:

This position is based at the Four Seasons Milan.

You must possess the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in English and Italian.
