POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for overall daily administration of the procurement - purchase department and its functions including accurate and timely reporting of the financials along with the daily performance reports in close co-operation with various departments


RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsable for smooth acquisition of goods and services needed for operations by: Analyzing market trends and managing a strong negotiation to ensure best prices, terms for requisition and delivery Coordinating with internal departments to assess procurement needs Guaranteeing profitability and cost-effectively operating  Manages purchase orders and maintains relationship with suppliers Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to optimize stock leverls  Resolves issues related to shipment errors, quality discrepancies and invoice mismatches Oversight of accounting staff referred to training and development concerning the procurment process, software and best practices Assistance with monitoring, assessing and maintaining internal controls and corporate policies and procedures to meet deadlines and to achieve operational goals Supports management to assist in controlling costs within the budget and forecast Perform monthly report  Prepare and assist with Monthly Forecasting Assist with completion of annual budgeting process Assist with internal and external audits
QUALIFICATIONS

Must havestrongorganizational skills and very good knowledge of Italian and English language to be able to compete the high level of interaction with vendors, internal stakeholders, team members; excellent verbal and written skills Education and/or experience in business administration and development, supply chain managment or related field Knowledge of or experience with Microsoft Office, procurement software Must handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
