We are looking for a diverse range of talented graduates to join our 12-month European Graduate Program to deliver on real, meaningful business priorities. Ideally you will already have some work experience through internship or summer placement to underpin your exceptional academic record. You will have a strong desire to learn, develop and succeed.

We will provide a structured program during which you will attend a series of online and face to face training sessions which will focus on developing your interpersonal and leadership skills. We will combine this with relevant technical training and provide you with a coach, mentor and assignment manager to provide a truly developmental experience. Our Leadership in Practice sessions will provide you with the opportunity to learn from the successes and learning experiences of our European executives and senior business leaders.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Field Service Engineer or Field Service Representative (FSR) you will be responsible for providing on-site technical customer service. This position will include chemistry tests, chemical feed and control equipment maintenance, chemical inventory management, technical recommendations, and written service reports. This is a customer facing position.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure compliance with all aspects of safety on the job – including the operation and maintenance of an assigned company vehicle – and comply with all Veolia Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and Italian laws Install and service chemical feed and water treatment and chemical feed equipment at designated locations Act as technical consultant and liaison with customer management and technical counterparts Perform water analysis and/or collect samples for preparation, labelling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis Work with PLC controls, understands water process treatment design, and repairs pumps, instruments and control panels Conduct preventive maintenance and calibrates feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintain log sheets Maintain inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, and piping), and adequate supply of reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine as well as special sampling and analysis Travel to customer sites and perform preventive maintenance and related services Troubleshoot and repairs pumps, instruments and control panels. Calibrate feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts and maintain log sheets. Conduct preventative maintenance on chemical feed pumps, controllers and instrumentation. Work closely with Sales to provide insight into new instrument and new service opportunities as well as upsell service and consumables at existing customer sites based on need Work frequently in a heavy industrial environment requiring use of Personal Safety Equipment and exposure to noise, dust, chemicals and other similar irritants typical of those found in refinery, chemical plants, power plants, etc… Optimize system performance Drives Value Generation Plan on assigned customer Responsible for efficient week planning, service optimization & time spend vs contract

 This position is based in North East Italy and requires work on field + remote working.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or similar Possession of driving licence required (licence B) IT Proficiency Fluent in English & Italian Ability and willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory, at times requiring overnight stay, as required
