We are looking for a talented On-Site Service Technician to join our team specializing in Service for our Service department in Lombardia, Italy.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

Customer Engagement: By interacting courteously and professionally with customers, you'll enhance their satisfaction and foster strong relationships, contributing to the company's positive reputation.

Efficient Repairs: Utilizing specialized tools and adhering to documented procedures, you'll ensure timely and accurate completion of less complex engine repairs, minimizing customer downtime.

Preventative Maintenance: Performing scheduled maintenance activities diligently will help prevent engine failures and extend the lifespan of customer equipment, providing long-term value.

Issue Escalation: Identifying and escalating unresolved issues promptly ensures that customers receive swift and effective solutions from more experienced technicians or supervisors.

Accurate Documentation: Completing required documentation meticulously will ensure proper record-keeping for service history, warranty claims, and quality assurance, supporting operational efficiency.

Service Opportunities: Identifying and communicating additional service opportunities can lead to increased business and better customer support, contributing to company growth.

Ongoing Training: Engaging in continuous training will enhance your skills and knowledge, enabling you to perform your duties more effectively and adapt to evolving business needs.

Qualifications

Education

Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.

Apprentice trained power generation or electrical technician with relevant electrical certification is preferred.

Fluency in Italian and English.

Locally valid driving permit and potential licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Moderate field service work experience with a background in electrical, electro-mechanical, or mechatronics.

Intermediate level knowledge of or experience with engine or power generation products.

Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a customer service-oriented approach.

Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
