Responsabilities and activities:
- Responsible for the design of subcomponents and assemblies regarding transmissions and electric vehicle drives for passenger car and commercial vehicle applications;
- Participation in the creation of the system architecture for the responsible assembly;
- Simultaneous engineering with suppliers and internal production facilities;
- Finalize the documentation (drawings, parts lists, specifications) and submit for approval;
- Design–to-Cost in collaboration with Cost Engineering and participation in VA/VE teams, including supporting on implementation of this activities to achieve product cost targets;
- Commissioning and coordination of detailed design (CAD model and drawing) and simulations at national and international development sites;
- Design support of industrialization, procurement, and quality processes as well as processes in change and variant management internally and externally;
- Design support and evaluating of customer inquiries and change requests;
- Coordination of the mechanical and geometric integration of the overall gearbox and evaluating application requirements with customers (customer responsible designer);
Requirements:

Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering;

2-3 Years Progressive Experience Within Automotive Powertrain Development or Related Field;

Knowledge of CAD CREO and PDM Systems;

Strong Working Knowledge of Automotive Powertrains, Experience with design-related calculations;

Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Skills;

Languages: Italian / English;
