Sales Account Manager

A major supplier of multi-product apparels is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their Italian business. They are a heavily design-led business with deep roots into TIER 1 retailers all over Europe. The person will be managing their Italian customer base, key high street retailers in the region, and growing these accounts. The role will suit someone with strong experience of selling apparels into high street retailers in the Italian market.

Account Manager: The Role:

  • Working closely with buyers on all aspects of product development, costings, and negotiations.
  • Always seeking business development opportunities and closing any sales opportunities.
  • Developing product with the design team, presenting collections to buyers.
  • Ensuring that production is in control, and execution of orders is going smoothly.
  • Working with design, technical, and sales functions.
  • Managing customers' expectations and providing top-class customer service.

Account Manager: The Person:

  • Will be an experienced account manager/sales manager from the supplier side of fashion, ideally with kidswear experience.
  • Will have experience in working with high street retailers.
  • Will have strong communication skills and be experienced in working with factories in the far east.
  • Will be organised and able to take ownership of their account on a day-to-day basis.
  • Have strong connections with buyers on the high street.
  • Highly organised.
  • Effective communication skills.

The role is home-based in Italy or office-based out of Milan.
