As an Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day financial operations and maintaining accurate financial records of the company.

Your primary focus will be on Vendors Payables, ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments, supporting various accounting functions, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and reconciliations.

You will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with financial regulations, maintaining financial integrity, and providing accurate financial information to stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities Accounts Payable Coordinating with Purchase department to ensure timely and accurate payment of vendors and suppliers.
Keeping accurate records of vendor documents.
Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
Monitoring accounts payable aging and managing payment schedules.
General Accounting and Reporting Performing daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank statements.
Preparing and posting journal entries for adjustments, accruals, and other financial transactions.
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Supporting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitoring all FA related activities.
Performing account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts.
Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and cashflow.
Assisting in coordinating external and internal audits and tax filings, providing necessary financial information and support.
Supporting other ad-hoc accounting and finance projects as assigned.
Requirements & Skills Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
Proven work experience as an Accounting Officer, Junior Accountant, or similar role.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
Fluency in Italian and English is a must.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Navision is a plus.
