Fiber Pre-Sales Technical Expert

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PreSales Technical Expert specializing in Fiber home gateway solutions.
In this role you will collaborate with sales teams operators and internal stakeholders to design propose and support technical solutions for fiber home gateway products
You will play a key role in understanding customer needs providing technical expertise and developing the roadmap of Fiber home gateway solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Consultation: Provide indepth technical consultation to customers and sales teams on Fiber connectivity home gateway solutions including FTTH (Fiber to the Home) FTTB (Fiber to the Building).
- Solution Design: Develop customized Fiber home gateway solutions based on customer requirements taking into consideration technical feasibility cost and deployment timelines.
- Proposal Development: Work closely with sales teams to create detailed technical proposals presentations and documentation that address customer needs and outline solution advantages benefits.
- Product Expertise: Maintain indepth knowledge of Fiber optic & WiFi technologies products and services staying up to date with industry trends standards and best practices.
- Customer Support: Engage with customers during the presales process conducting technical discussions presentations and product demonstrations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal engineering and customer s product team to ensure the technical feasibility and integration of proposed solutions.
- RFP/RFQ Support: Assist in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) by providing accurate technical inputs and documentation.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis of Fiber home gateway solutions and technologies to ensure our offerings meet or exceed market standards and stay informed on emerging technologies.
- Training & Education: Provide technical training and product knowledge to sales teams and customers ensuring a clear understanding of Fixed broadband technologies home gateway solutions and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering Telecommunications Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in a presales or technical consulting role focused on Fiber home gateway. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the telecom industry with 7 years of experience in FTTx Home Gateway/ONT/ONU solution design or technical sales roles.
- Strong understanding of Fiber optic network architectures technologies (GPON EPON XG(S)PON) and deployment strategies.
- Experience designing and implementing FTTH FTTB.
- Proven experience supporting sales teams and closing deals involving largescale fixed broadband home gateway projects.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ITU IEEE RFC and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Knowledge of WiFi networks 802.11ac 802.11ax 802.11be with an indepth understanding of Whole Home WiFi market and solution trends.
- Experience with containerized software applications and familiarity with open platforms such as RDKB and Prpl for home gateway solutions.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical solutions to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced customerfacing environment.
- Fluent in English.
