The Role
As an Account Manager at Deliveroo, you will manage and grow relationships with our most important restaurant partners. As Deliveroo continues to grow, we become a major revenue channel for restaurants. Aside from providing the best support, we are restaurant consultants that use data-driven insight and industry knowledge to lead our partner restaurants' growth. The AM is focused on the relationship with the network in the Italian market, working with other internal departments (marketing, operations, product) to offer the best consultancy service to our top brands. The Account Manager team is a passionate, dynamic group of team players that work well together and are great at building relationships This role is based in Milan and will report to the Account Lead.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with restaurant partners.
- Understanding partners' business goals and challenges to provide strategic guidance and support.
- Manipulating and analyzing data to drive growth and profitability, both for your partners and for Deliveroo.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement customized solutions to meet partners' needs, including Marketing, Operations, Corporate, and Customer Service.
- Driving revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Acting as the main point of contact for partners, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in account management and/or consulting.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex business challenges and develop tailored solutions.
- Must be fluent in Italian and English.
- Master's Degree in Economy.
