Job Title: Director of Finance Operations
Duration: Temp to Hire
Location: Remote ( Need to be on approved states list. The Director of Finance Operations leads a team of financial analysts and serves as the finance business partner to a senior operations leader (COO or CMO). Drawing on firsthand observation of operations and information from other finance and data analytics resources provide timely and actionable reporting and counsel to the operations leaders to optimize performance. Under the direction of the Vice President Finance and in partnership with other directors standardize best practices that drive business results.

Job Expectations:

Establish business partner relationships with key operating executives Review operational financial performance with management and recommend necessary actions Engage in the planning process by providing timely analysis that informs decisions Help deploy and monitor Fairviews system of internal control including policies procedures and practices Represent finance priorities to operations and advocate for operations with corporate finance Evaluate profitability of accountable entities and costeffectiveness or programs Work with functional experts within finance to assess the implications of key actions and market trends on the entitys financial structure. Interactions include Revenue Management Reimbursement Treasury Financial Planning & Analysis etc. Lead planning and forecasting processes for supported operations Collaborate with other finance leaders to improve and standardize processes and propagate best practices Effectively develop finance team members technical skills and ability to understand system interdependencies promoting a team approach with other areas of Fairview.

Minimum Qualifications to Fulfill Job Responsibilities:

Required

Ten or more years of finance experience including support of a senior operations leader Strong demonstrated leadership and negotiation skills and experience Demonstrated ability to build relationships with and positively influence operations leaders Ability to synthesize financial and operating data into concise and actionable information for financial and nonfinancial users Strong curiosity and results orientation Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Healthcare experience
