The Senior Representative Planning & Control for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for developing production and supply plans and forecasts, along with the availability of material and manufacturing capacity. This includes identifying and maintaining appropriate planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize subassembly production and raw material supply plans. Plans production, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Prepares schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.

This position is part of the East Region Supply Chain Team located in Florence and Hebron, KY and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Develop planning strategies, tools, and specialized support necessary for cost-effective business solutions.
  2. Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in OTD and related KPI’s/objectives by leveraging DBS tools, facilitation skills, and the change management process.
  3. Drive the analysis and review of demand data to support purchasing and planning decisions both short and long term to ensure continuity of supply.
  4. Maintain conformance to all Beckman Coulter policies and practices in an FDA regulated environment.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  1. High school diploma with 7+ years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree in field with 5+ years of experience, Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience or Doctoral degree in field with 0-2 years of experience.
  2. Self-driven, capable of operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment and able to effectively deal with difficult and/or ambiguous situations.
  3. Team player with strong customer orientation and ability to work in multinational and multicultural environments.
  4. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Experience applying lean principles in a variety of situations in functions/areas supporting Procurement, Planning, and Manufacturing.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  1. Ability to travel – 5% travel, overnight, within U.S.
  2. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  1. Prior experience working in an FDA/ISO regulated environment preferred.
  2. Demonstrated customer focus and strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  3. Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from leadership’s point of view.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
